I’m constantly blown away by how much information we can access these days. Maybe I should get over it, but I can’t quite seem to wrap my head around the fact that we have a world of education right at our fingertips (literally with smartphones). I think it is incredibly important to always be learning, growing, and pushing yourself, so I thought today I would share my favorite ways to learn new things!
Asking Questions – This may seem simple, but I take this one to heart. If you have ever had a conversation with me you know just how many questions I ask. It may be annoying to some, but I find hearing people’s stories, how they got to where they are, and what they learned along the way fascinating. I tend to ask an abundance of questions in conversation because you never know when you could learn something new! Several hobbies I have had, things I have tried, and awesome experiences have come from asking questions in normal conversations.
Online Classes & Webinars- There are an insane amount of Online Classes and Webinars out there. Most of my high school degree is built up of online classes, but in addition to that I have learned things like Calligraphy, photo editing, business bookkeeping, and even tap dancing through online classes and webinars. they. are. the. bomb.
Workshops- Workshops have become a recent trend and I am loving it! The opportunity to learn from other successful business owners? Sign me up! I have attended a few and am looking forward to a couple more in the next few months! This is a more hands-on way of learning as you tend to be able to ask more questions and dive in deeper.
Good ol’ fashion books- Another “duh” one, but don’t underestimate reading! There are some crazy helpful books out there that may be just want you need to kick it up a notch!
Podcasts or iTunes University- Right there on your phone there are apps to help you learn anything you can think of! Podcasts pull from real life people, and iTunes Univeristy offers real college courses! Both amazing! Take advantage of them! I love listening to them in the car!
YouTube- Real life: I’m addicted to YouTube. For a million reasons, but one being it always has the answer I need! I am a very visual learner so if I’m struggling with something a video often helps more than an article. For that reason, YouTube is my go-to if I have a question!
Now you tell me!
What are your favorite ways to learn something new?

I also find asking questions really helps me to strengthen my learning experience because this is how I learn from others. I like hearing from those who share their expeirence and what they have gone through and how they arrive to where they are now. It is such a great inspiration by asking questions and I sometimes get the best advices I don’t normally get elsewhere.
