This post was one of my favorites to put together last year so I was excited to do it again this year. This year seemed to fly by and feel like ages all at the same time. January 2015 seems like just yesterday, yet so much has changed this year that it feels like life has always been this way. The Lord blew me away this year with His sovereignty, mercy, and love. I said at the end of last years post that His plan is better than mine and I can say even more this year that I know that to be true. Let’s take a look-see back shall we?

I can’t say how grateful I am for such an amazing year. I have to admit I got a little teary-eyed pulling all these pictures together. I never thought I would shoot 13 weddings, travel to 3 new cities, have a new nephew, and have work featured on Cottage Hill, Simply Blue Weddings, Midwest Bride, and A Practical Wedding. I had the chance to work with so many sweet families, wonderful brides, and incredibly talented vendors. I say this all not to brag or make it seem like this year was Mary Poppins style (practically perfect in every way) but to express a deep gratitude for each and every blessing. I made some of my best friends this year and learned more than I every thought possible and that is something I will always cherish.

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.”
