Winter Staples

I will never understand the hype of black Friday. Every year the day after Thanksgiving seems to let me down (although I will admit there were good deals from Nordstrom this year!). Day after Christmas however, is a different story! It is a sure bet that you will score something up to 70% off. I found this cape coat at Banana Republic for $24, originally $200! You may recognize this top from my post from Charleston. I found this top while I was there and have been getting a ton of use out of it! Good news is, it’s currently on sale!! Lace tops are great for so many different outfits! This Brother’s Leather bag is my new bestie. I snagged it at Bailey & James a few weeks back and haven’t stopped using it since. I am a believer that staple items are worth investing in while trendier items should be found for less moolah. So while this wasn’t exactly a *cough pain-free, cough* purchase, it was definitely been a good call and I am loving it! It is wearing so well and I am super impressed by the quality! Not to mention it’s local! G-Rap for the win!!This sweater has also become a go-to! Ironically (after harping on it up there ^^^) I got it 60% on black Friday! They have it in tons of colors and it is so comfortable! Wishing you a happy Monday!
