Knotted Ponytail: Hair Tutorial

Looking for a new way to spice up your ponytail? I gotcha covered! This knotted look is super simple and quick!
Step one: Part your hair into 3 sections. The two outside sections will be smaller than the main middle section, I stay pretty close to my ears. The middle section will be the bulk of your ponytail. Step 2: Gather the middle section into a ponytail. Secure it tightly, hold it with one hand, and with your other hand grab the hair going into the ponytail and pull towards your roots to add volume.Step 3: Take the two outside sections of hair, and smoothly bring them to the center over the top of the pony. Then…listen very closely…tie it in a knot. Yep! That’s it!Step 4: Lift up your ponytail, and bring the two ends of the knot together under the base of your ponytail. Secure the two ends together with a clear elastic hair tie and fluff the ponytail back over it!Give a little tug and pull on the knot and base of the ponytail to make it bigger and more noticeable.
To finish it off I like to dust a little texturizing powder over the pony, then fluff and fluff some more! This will help hold the volume and shape!
