Not sure what to wear to your company/family/friends Christmas party? The stress of wanting to feel comfortable, fabulous, and look your best is REAL. Because my love for online shopping is ALSO REAL, I’m hooking a sister up with all my favorite holiday dresses!
These range in price, but the higher price point dresses are all from stores that have frequent sales! J Crew, Banana, Gap, Loft, etc. all have 40-60% off regularly so it’s worth picking out the one you like and keeping an eye on it! Loft will also refund you if you bring a receipt in within 1Â week of purchase if your item goes on sale after you buy it! Just tuck that little nugget away!
I picked up this dress at Loft a few weeks back for Mini Sessions. Unfortunately, they don’t have it anymore, if you click the picture the link goes to a similar style!  All of these dresses will have you knocking people’s socks off! Those holiday parties won’t know what hit em’!

Did you know that I love love love emerald green? Just a little fun fact for ya. The shape of this dress from Old Navy is super flattering! I have a similar one in black from last year (also Old Navy) and the stretchy fabric makes it so comfortable! With an awesome price tag (under $40) you can’t not love it! I also think it would look adorable with black tights because…Michigan ya’ll.
Banana Republic is currently KILLING the dress game. I tried on a few styles and someone had to hold me back! I love this navy dress! The bell sleeve gives it just the right about of flair!
How lovely is this little Madeline style dress? Clad & Cloth is an awesome site if you are looking for inexpensive trendy pieces! They have the most adorable things! I love how sweet this dress is! Pair it with tights and block heels and you’ll be the bell of the ball! At under $60 your wallet will thank you too!
This embroidered goodness is what I was referring to when I say they had to hold me back in Banana Republic. I have no reason to own this, but if I did you bet I would! It is fun, flowy, and flattering! How’s that for an alliteration! This is great for warmer areas where you can get away with bare legs!
Oh man. Every year there is that Kate Spade dress that I can’t stop staring at! Has there ever been a Kate Spade dress that HASN’T been fabulous? Answer: Absolutely not. This beaut has quite the price tag, but I mean, it has a glittery bow. A glittery bow! Keep an eye on their outlet stores, they occasionally will run 80% off and then you can pounce!
This red swing dress is a great Holiday staple! The color makes a statement, but the style keeps it classic! I think this would look adorable with tights, a big necklace and heels!
If you’ve been wanting to try the velvet trend these last two styles are for you! We are back to my love for emerald green… don’t you just want to cuddle up with this dress and take a nap? It looks like it is probably so soft and Christmassy!! I think this would look darling with a simple cardigan over it, and I love the shoes they have it paired with! Velvet fabric is one area where it may pay off to spend the extra cash. I’ve tried on several inexpensive velvet pieces and the quality shows big time!
I think you need to buy this dress, put on white tights, a pair of ice skates, earmuffs, and jump into a Hallmark movie. Right? If I owned this I would definitely spend all my time in it swaying back and forth like the girl in this picture.
Last but not least, I love this simple classic style! Could be dressed up or down and would look darling in the fall tool!
I hope this helps your shopping woes! Where are your favorite places to look for Holiday dresses?
