If there is something I take too seriously, it’s breakfast foods. I got this trait from my dad who is a master in the kitchen and fills my life with baked goods. We share a mutual love of sweet treats and fun places so it’s no surprise that we both feel VERY strongly about the Wealthy Street Bakery! We have searched and tested and come to the conclusion that their cranberry almond scone is the best in the business. There isn’t much I wouldn’t do to get my hands on one of these scones on any given day! If you live in GR, stop what you are doing and find one now!As for the outfit (which isn’t nearly as exciting as the scone) it is built up of a couple unlikely things. The first being that the jeans are from Old Navy. Now you know I love Old Navy, but if there is one thing I swore never to buy there again, it is jeans! In my experience they never fit right and have always stretched out in the first wear. I’ve waisted so much money on cheap Old Navy jeans that I should have just bought expensive jeans to begin with. That said, I heard Karla Reed (ya’ll know I’ll buy anything she says to) mention this particular pair and her success with them. I tried them on in store and loved them! For $20 it was worth a go!! So far I am loving them and they are unbelievably comfy!
My sister Hailey picked out these mules and I loved them but I think my exact quote was “it’s not worth buying mules because mule season is only like 2 weeks in Michigan.” We have a very short window between flip flops and snow boots. She bought them anyway and when they rang up at $12 I made an impulse move and ran and grabbed them for myself too! Guys, I think I have a shopping problem.
The good news is, I was totally wrong and I wear them all the time!!
