I have a love for deep colors which may be why I like cold weather so much. I love styling my outfits with rich maroons, blacks, grays, and navys. The best part about this is that it leaves room for a pop of color!
This top from Closet Barcode is a recent favorite! Closet Barcode is a new online store featuring awesome items from small and independent fashion designers. Raise your hand if you have ever encountered a size chart that was generic and way off from the actual piece! (*Insert hand raising emoji here*) I do a lot of online shopping and I often find size charts so frustrating! Thankfully Closet Barcode hand measures each item individually so their size chart is always right on! Can I get a woot woot! I decided to start with this floral tank top. Layering tank tops under sweaters is one of my favorite tricks to add the look of layers without too much heat or bulk! It also gets more use out of your summer clothes! These jeans from Gap are my new BFF. It’s about time someone invented a pair of jeans that are stretchy and comfortable but don’t lose their shape by the end of the day (or next day). Thank you Gap! Paired with my favorite riding boots of course! Now let’s talk about this purse. It just makes me happy! I mean look at it! It is so well made, structured nicely, and it’s just pretty! I love the trend of tying a scarf around your purse, but most of the time I feel like the scarf overpowers the bag. I like that this bag incorporates the trend in a soft and subtle way! //Top: Closet Barcode//Sweater: Old Navy//Jeans: Gap//Purse: Closet Barcode//Boots: Nine West//
