Every year my sister Allie has all of us girls over to have a Christmas baking day. It is always one of my favorite days of the season! We each bring a treat to make, make a ton of it and send some home with everyone! Our first year doing this we all brought cookie dough before realizing we had a problem, only one oven and enough cookies to last 9 years (not that that is a bad thing). Fast forward a few years and we seem to have come full circle. None of us brought cookies, instead, we all brought chocolate covered pretzels (which we will now be eating for another 9 years). I can’t say I hated it, but we didn’t actually do any baking on our baking day! Ha! Though Audrey did make a delicious cinnamon bread that is heavenly! It’s relaxing days with my sisters that I love more than anything. It has been a busy year, and I came down with a little case of the stomach flu this past week (hence the no blogging), and a day like this was just what I needed. I hope that whatever you are doing this Holiday season you are able to take the time to relax and enjoy time with your loved ones! Love my little toothless wonder!
p.s. In case you are wondering where last weeks Dressember post is, I am combining it with this weeks! Flu = not leaving the house = pajamas = a few less dresses! Stay tuned for this weeks post on Saturday!
