For those of you who don’t know, I have been working with Ashley Slater for about a month now, and I absolutely love it! I am learning so much every single day, and am doing my best to soak it all in. We are so similar, its a little freaky! Although, Ashley is the only person I’ve ever met to put more salt on food than me, and almost out-rap me to Super Bass. Almost.
More on my internship later.
Long before I got connected with her, I registered for the workshop that she and Michaela host. Little did I know that I would end up being there the day before stuffing goodie bags, and carrying tables around! These are some mega-talented ladies, and this workshop was incredibly beneficial! The set up for the day made it so easy to connect with other entrepreneurs, while also learning how to turn your passion into a career! I am so grateful for women in this industry who, rather than taking on the role of magician, are willing and happy to share their secrets. It is clear that they truly want to help others grow in their business. Not gonna lie, it kind of made me want to break out into High School Musical songs..I didn’t though..don’t worry.
They start out the day by stuffing you full off information, advice, and coffee! What’s not to like? Then in the afternoon there is a styled shoot (styled by Michaela) where they target design and photography more directly.
I was thrilled to be able to make not only a highlight video for Bloom, but a promo video as well! The highlight video will give you an overall feel of what the day looks like, while the promo really explains their heart behind Bloom, and how they got started! Hope you enjoy!
My sweet sis Hailey did all the hair and makeup as well! You can check her out here!
Okay but can we talk about these swag bags? Killer.
Thanks again to Michaela and Ashley for hosting such a wonderful day!
