December Favorites

I can’t believe we are already though December! This year has gone by crazy fast! Tomorrow I will be recapping 2014 and I can’t wait! For today I am going to be sharing some of my favorite items from December! Every single month I think about doing this so I decided just to make it happen this month! Hope you enjoy!
1. This Bauble Bar necklace has been rocking my wardrobe these days! I felt a little brave buying it because it is not something I would typically pick out but I was pleasantly surprised to realize it pretty much matches everything! I love statement necklaces for sprucing up an outfit, and this one has been a definite favorite!

2. Holiday drinks are really all I care about in life. I have been obsessing over the Starbucks Medium Roast Holiday Blend KCups, and this Nutcracker Sweet Tea! Both are perfect for a chilly December morning!

3. The level of excitement I expressed when I got the email saying that Gilmore Girls was FINALLY on Netflix was embarrassing. The only thing more embarrassing is how many hours I have spent watching it! I have a tendency to get sucked into TV shows while I edit, it makes the hours in Lightroom fly by and this month it has been a constant stream of Gilmore Girls.

4. Red lips! I love a bold lip color almost always, but especially during the holiday season. To find out my favorites check out this blog post!

5. December was the month that I FINALLY (yes “finally” in caps again, lots of long awaited things have happened this month) got my drivers license! I never took drivers training in high school so I was a little behind on things. I was SO happy to finally get it! I keep just driving random places because I CAN!!

6. Hunter rain boots. I have been debating this purchases for about a year, and after a very snowy shoot the last week of November I pulled to trigger. I’m not sure how I have lived in Michigan for 18 years without these! I pretty much haven’t taken them off since I got them!

7. Practicing calligraphy. In December I decided to challenge myself to practice calligraphy every single day. I forgot how much I loved this hobby!! It is so relaxing at the end of the night but bust out my nibs and ink! Though I still have a looonnnggg way to go, I feel like I improved more in one month than I have in the entire year since I learned calligraphy.

8. Woah. You need to try these! Snapea Crips used to be a favorite of mine but I forgot how much I loved them till I stumbled across them in the health food store. They are a little tricky to track down but boy are they delicious! I can down a bag in one sitting! This past week I went to 4 stores looking for them!! Now that is what you call addicted.

9. I am SO excited to be attending the Develop Photography Retreat in April in Colorado! I know this hasn’t happened yet, but since I registered in December I thought I would throw it in as a favorite!
