Did you all have a Happy Thanksgiving? I hope you did!
While the obvious option is to spend this weekend shopping all the sales, today I thought I’d share a few ways cozy ways to spend your holiday weekend! Nothing better than snuggling up with the ones you love!
While we are all in the mood for some good food, why not whip up some yummy baked goods? Decorate cookies or try a new recipe for homemade pie! If you aren’t into cooking (or are worn out from Thanksgiving) try mixing up a few spices in some water on your stove (recipe link on image 12). This will fill your house with the smell of the holidays, without requiring you to bust out an apron!
This is the perfect time to start decorating for Christmas or working on your Christmas cards! Pick out your tree and get out the lights! Spread the Christmas cheer through your home so that all who enter will feel the joy of the season! Get the pesky task of addressing Christmas cards out of the way with the company of a Hallmark movie! Guaranteed to make the task more cheery!
If you are craving more rest and rejuvenation, make use of time off by spending it in bed with candles lit and your favorite book! If you have a fireplace, this is definitely the weekend to use it! Cuddling with bunnies is also optional! 😉
Wishing you a cozy holiday weekend!
