Everyone needs a girls weekend now and then! My family is made up of four girls and then we have close family friends who also have four girls, and our moms have always been best friends. This year we decided to take a shopping trip together and we had the best time! I can’t believe we haven’t done this before, but I’m sure it isn’t the last time we will! We were missing one sister so next year hopefully the whole crew can make it! We drove to Chicago on Friday morning and came home Saturday evening, we filled every second in between with either shopping or eating! We stayed up late, ate a serious amount of dessert (get the beignets at Grand Lux Cafe! Just do it!!), and spent too many hours (or not enough?) in the Gap. Best weekend of the year!
One of the days I was able to sneak away for a bit and surprise Kirsten while she was shopping for her wedding dress! It was a ball!
I’m pretty sure my Mom would have moved into Crate & Barrel if we had let her!
I already can’t wait for next years girls weekend!
