I’m so thankful for a friend who loves hosting as much as I do! With the holidays upon us Meg and I decided to throw together a little gathering to celebrate and spread some Christmas cheer!
We were so thankful to use the space at Lamb Bride! It is such a stunning place and I can’t get enough of it! We used it for our mini sessions and it was the perfect space for our holiday party!
We decked out the table with fresh greenery, gold candlesticks, and dishes from our mothers pantries! We cracked up at how many cake plates, decorative items, cloth napkins and pretty dishes our moms each had in their collections! We truly couldn’t have done it without rummaging through their cupboards!
When Meg threw out the idea of baking cakes I’ll admit I was a little timid! I’m not exactly a pro in the kitchen, but after spending a few hours with a Kitchen Aid and bag of flour I remembered that I do love baking! I used this recipe for a Cranberry White Chocolate Cake and I loved it!
I sugared cranberries using this recipe and they were the perfect addition to the tops of cakes! We also threw cranberries and fresh mint into the water for a festive pop!
Who doesn’t want a reason to throw glitter? I mean…really.
We used Paperless Post to send out e-invites to all the lovely ladies! It was so much simpler than sending out paper invitations and I LOVED the options that they had! Rather than the cheesy emails you picture when thinking of e-invites they have beautiful options from designers like Kate Spade, Riffle Paper Co, etc! It was so hard to pick our favorites!
Wishing you laughter, joy, and cozy gatherings this holiday season!
