Happy Monday! I hope you are off to a fabulous start to the week! Friday was my surgery and things went as smoothly as we hoped! I am very sore and moving slowly but it seems like each day is a little better. Overall, I’m thankful I decided to do it and am excited to see how this new button works over time!
I didn’t know how long to expect for recovery so I worked ahead quite a bit so that I can rest and take my time recovering without the stress of a to-do list. That means this week I’ll be binging on Hallmark movies, catching up on my favorite blogs (a few: here, here, here, here), and maybe even getting a head start on Christmas shopping online!
For some reason Dan and I have had this surgery in our head as a big time marker. We have lots of exciting things coming up, a cruise to Mexico, the holidays, Dan’s birthday, and our one year anniversary. For months we’ve been saying “after surgery…” “after surgery…” and now “after surgery” is finally here! Once I’m feeling 100% again we are diving head first into my favorite time of year! I’m already getting excited planning out holiday content with Meg!
Lately I have been seeing so many fun jackets in stores and I am loving it! They are the perfect way to add layers, textures, and warmth to an outfit! Jackets are timeless, feminine, and flattering! With jackets the fit is important. Even if it is an oversized fit you always want to make sure it fits and is structured in your shoulders – that is what will keep it from being frumpy or swallowing you! I also love rolling my sleeves just a smidge to show my wrist.
Old Navy has this jacket in several different colors & patterns and I think they are all adorable! I went one size down.
I hope you have a fabulous week!
