Why is it that when you have plenty of time to browse the Target shelves are empty, but when you’re in a hurry to grab a couple ingredients for dinner the aisles are fully stocked with happy finds and calling your name? Well I’m glad that I swung my cart to the side and snagged these pants because they. are. everything.
They are a thick sweater material that lay nicely, still feel breezy (not too sweaty) and have ZERO itch (very important to me). The waistband has great stretch to it, but still feels secure. My regular size actually still worked with my growing bump but I would recommend sizing up (pregnant or not) because I found that one size larger laid a little nicer and eliminated any underwear lines.
What I love about building a wardrobe of great basics is that when you find a more unique piece like these pants you can actually create several versatile outfits easily. You might see green/brown sweater pants and think “what would I wear those with” but if you know you have a couple solid options for tops and shoes, you can create a new look each time you wear them.
I think these can absolutely be dressed up or down and I will be living in them until baby arrives and they will also be great postpartum.
