Is anyone else as in disbelief as I am that it is already Labor Day? Honestly, I’ve really been looking forward to fall this year and the re-set that comes with it. I know lots of people feel gypped of their summer, but I think we can all see the beauty in a little bit of a fresh start.
Dan and I are savoring every bit of this long weekend. I had photographed a micro-wedding Friday, and this morning Dan dug into yard work (our yard is crazy guys. crazy. pictures coming soon) and a few house projects. We are planning to see family but don’t have anything set in stone and there is something delightfully freeing about the idea of lounging in pajamas, watching a few shows and breaking into the new Magnolia Journal issue.
And of course, I’ve been doing a little online scouting of the sales. This is the time to stock up on staples and transitional pieces for fall so that is what I’ve focused on for this round up. I also wanted to include a few sample outfits of the types of things I’m wearing daily right now. Everything in this round up has a slightly comfy bend (even the work wear!), exactly what I like to be in when the cooler temps arrive.
