Hello! Just stopping by to talk about January a little with some pictures from my phone! I often have a hard time leaving my camera behind. Photos are so important to me and really close to my heart, so I almost always have my HEAVY camera tucked away in my purse. We spent one day on our trip to Disney at Universal studios. Knowing I would be on roller coasters the whole day with no where to put it, I left my camera back at the hotel. I (embarrassingly enough) was pretty upset about it, and guess what?! I DIDN’T DIE!! Ever since I have been trying to not feel like I must have a nice camera with me at all times. I have gotten used to expecting the highest of quality for pictures and it is easy to forget that photos from my every day life don’t have to be. It is about capturing the moment, not about them being taken on a full frame. Just snapping something quick with my phone has really been helping me be in the present moment. But anyway! On to January!
We started the new year on a trip to see my relatives in Kansas. There was a little complication with getting my TPN to Kansas (apparently FedEx gets very busy on New Years eve -_-) so this resulted in spending a lot of time chilling on my Aunts couch, watching movies, and just chatting. This turned out to be (no pun intended) just what the doctor ordered! It was so good to see everyone and catch up!
^^^ that would be Cinder’s. The only cat I have ever liked finally likes me back. I can die in peace now.
Hair lately…cause I know you were just DYING to see it weren’t you!?? I kid.
January has consisted of drinking the last bags of Christmas tea, spending lots of time in my little office, and reading a TON. #GIRLBOSS was killer. You should probably read it.
So I hate driving in my hunter boots. They are clunky and make things difficult. Because of this I always bring an extra right shoe to drive in, then when I arrive at my location I put my boot back on. It works perfectly! Except when you forget to switch your right show back until you are standing at the door of the bookstore…that was a close one.
This past weekend we shot out first engagement session of the year, and booked our 10th wedding for the summer of 2015!! We could not be more excited! Our goal was to book 6 weddings. It is just another reminder that the Lord’s plans are better than mine. I am so grateful for where I am at right now, and I cannot wait to see where He brings my business in the coming year!
Thanks for reading this smorgasbord of a blog post!
