I wanted to share a couple photos of our Christmas decor! We ended up keeping things simple and I love it! It was just a few cherry touches to brighten up the whole apartment! I mentioned in this post that we ended up getting a fake Christmas tree (which I was not on board with at first) and I have ended up being really happy we did! No, it doesn’t smell as good as a real tree, but it looks beautiful, is low (read: no) maintenance, and I’ve been able to keep it up longer because it won’t die! I love plugging it in first thing in the morning! I might just have to leave it up forever.
We picked up a box of ornaments from Home Goods that had gold and emerald green, then mixed in some ornaments we’ve collected. I loved that the colors ended up being festive but still in line with our normal decor.
We found this Andy Williams Record a few months ago at a used book sale and it has been the BEST. We play it all the time and I love how it looks sitting out.
These stockings were at the top of my wish list for months and I’m SO happy I ended up pulling the trigger. They felt like a special purchase – picking out our first matching stockings. I wanted something that felt timeless, cheerful, and that we could coordinate as we add more stockings once our family grows (not for a while though, this isn’t a hint, I’m just thinking ahead haha!). I love love love them. They are out of stock currently but will be at this link if they restock.
I can’t express my love for the Netflix Fireplace enough!! They are hour long videos on Netflix of a fireplaces…um yes please!! It has cracking sounds and just makes the room so cozy! I play it pretty much 24/7. Birchwood edition is my favorite!
I got all my wrapping paper from Walgreens this year! I stopped by to pick something up and it was in the front entrance! I had no idea they even sold wrapping paper but after looking around all week it was by far my favorite!
The only thing we did in our dining room was add these little gnomes and a wreath and they make me so happy! They are old from Target.
I added this “Merry Everything” (old from Hobby Lobby) as well as this Ralph Lauren (my favorite!) blanket that I found at Home Goods.
Our frames usually hold prints of the beach but for the season we swapped it out with Polaroid’s from our wedding! They make me so happy!!
