We’re gonna get real here today.
My life has made a serious change. For years I have dreamed of a change like this, never taking for granted what was placed in front of me, but praying for the way the Lord would craft my future. My life has had some very interesting twists and turns, and I am grateful for everyone of them. Not all of the turns have been good, but each had many hidden blessings. This time things are a little different. The blessings are screaming so loud, I often just start crying with joy (no lie).
First and foremost, my health is in a place that it has never been before. Occasionally I will have a rough day and am instantly shocked by the fact that I used to do that everyday! Feeling good is da bomb ya’ll! I must admit that I find it slightly humorous I was the sickest through the most time-demanding time in my life, and now that I pick my own schedule I am feeling great, but hey! The Lords timing is perfect! The stress over the years that my illness combined with school has given me was…well..less than pleasant. I praise the Lord every day for relieving me of these burdens. He has always carried them when I couldn’t, but its incredible to watch Him take them away altogether one day at a time.
I am so grateful everyday for the chance to do what I love. It may not seem like the most mainstream idea to hold off on college and really pour into my business, but the Lord is providing more than I could have ever imagined. I am so grateful for the amazing clients and opportunities He has brought my way. I am so excited to share some things I have been working on (like for real, SO excited!), and while at times I feel overwhelmed with the fact that I own a business and am only 18, I am more than grateful for this. To each one of you who has trusted me with documenting this time in your life, thank you. In addition to working on my own business I have the privilege of interning for Ashley Slater. Ashley is so great, and I am learning SO much from her! She is basically the coolest boss ever, and I can’t say enough good things about her!
The point of this post is not to throw a pity party for my previous few years, or try and sound overdramatic. The point of this post is to lift up praise to my Father who is making beautiful things. Leaving high school I felt rung out, and dragged down. I am so grateful to say that He is once again springing life.
