My first outfit post of the new year, hello! The truth is I’ve been wearing a lot of leggings and sweatshirts trying to stay warm in what they call a Polar Vortex! But if the sun peeks out at ALL (even for a brief moment) I am wearing loafers. Yes the snow falls in the side of my shoes. No I don’t care.

I have worn snow boots too many days in a row and if my feet can see the sun (even if they are cold) I will take my chances. Dan finds it ridiculous but will still pull the car up for me so that I don’t have to step in the snow, so I think he secretly understands where I’m coming from. 😉

I love high waisted jeans. The higher the better. I would like to outlaw jeans that you have to hike up a million times a day altogether. In the last year I’ve tried two pairs of jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch (this being the second) and I must say, I am impressed! My one requirement for jeans is that they have a comfy amount of stretch but don’t lose their shape throughout the day and these hit the mark on both accounts!

And my final thought: I would like to wear a bow in my hair every day forever and ever, Amen.
